Community Guidelines
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Famoulee is a place for families to share their history and stay close. These guidelines apply to everything posted on Famoulee — posts, comments, documents, photos, chat messages and profiles.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Anyone who posts it may have their content removed and their account suspended, with no prior warning.
Do not post, send or share:
- Harassment, bullying, or targeting someone with unwanted contact
- Hate speech, or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Sexual or pornographic content, and any sexual content involving minors
- Threats of violence, or content that glorifies violence
- Content that encourages self-harm or suicide
- Impersonating another person, living or dead
- Spam, scams, or deliberately misleading content
- Anything illegal, or content you do not have the right to share
Every post, comment, reply, document, chat message and profile on Famoulee can be reported. Use the report option on the item itself and tell us what is wrong with it.
Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours. We will tell you the outcome. Content that breaches these guidelines is removed, and the account responsible may be suspended.
You can block any Famoulee user. Once blocked, they cannot message you, and their posts and comments no longer appear for you. You can block someone directly from the report dialog, or from your settings.
Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, we may:
- Remove the content
- Suspend the account for a fixed period, ending every active session immediately
- Suspend the account indefinitely
If you believe we got a decision wrong, reply to the email we sent you or write to team@famoulee.com. A different reviewer will look at it again.
Questions about these guidelines can be sent to team@famoulee.com.
